SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: PrimatesPeru Greeting Cards

We are proud to announce that we have achieved half of our fundraising goal for PrimatesPeru. We are continually inspired by the encouraging messages we've received from friends and family over the past few weeks. The project is gaining momentum daily and we are optimistic that our goal of raising $5000 will be reached by the time we begin in mid-October. To help pull us through the home stretch of fundraising we are launching one more initiative...

At the request of some contributers, we have designed several greeting cards to be used in this year's holiday season. By using these cards you are supporting PrimatesPeru and spreading the word of our cause to more eyes and ears. Since we need to produce and ship all cards before leaving to Peru in mid-October, there is a deadline of September 15 to participate in this venture,. All proceeds will go directly towards funding our stay at CICRA which ensures the protection of 360,000 acres of primary rainforest and countless wildlife and plant species.

Cards measure 5^1/2in X 4^1/4in and feature artwork created by members of our team. All card types are available in packs of 10, envelopes included, that cost $15 each*. Once we receive your order, complete with your name, card type(s) and quantities, and shipping information, we will send you details on how best to make a payment. You made it. Thanks to Mini who without the official PHD is already a
teacher, to Gid who is still sometimes causing pain to have a child, thanks to
Loyola Grad school which requires online public classroom blackboard, thanks to
Melissa my soon to be daughter in law and trying to teach me facebook. I am
now very aware that what I write here goes out to the public world. So since
that is true, get the cards for they are wonderful and it helps the project and
if you come to Chicago when Gid's Dad finishes you can view the originals
framed.

And also thanks to Aaron for helping Gideon and Mini improve this
blog...well of course I can have pride. He is also my son and Gid's older
brother and his innate computer gifts and natural talents are paying off for
this research project.
