Where your plastic goes
These photographs are of Albatross chicks found dead on Midway Atoll, a stretch of sand and coral near the middle of the North Pacific. Thousands of chicks die each year from being fed plastic by parents who are attracted to the giant pile of garbage collecting in the Pacific. The next time you buy something wrapped in plastic, think of these creatures. Make sure your plastic gets recycled!
